May 20, 2013

May 20, 2013
Ok. Today isn't my normal P-day. Our zone leaders said it would be alright if we sent a quick email, so I just wanted to send a few pictures and let you know what is going to happen the next few days. I leave the MTC tomorrow at 3:00 in the AM. So, I'll probably be calling tomorrow around 5 Utah time, so around 4 your time. I don't want to keep the people I'm traveling with waiting, so I don't think it will be a super long talk--maybe 15 minutes or so. Don't worry about waking up a bunch of people or anything. Mom, you have to wake up. You're obligated. Don't try and fight it. I bought this $5 dollar phone card here and they say to call from the airport using a quarter, make sure you are ready, and then call back using the phone card. I don't know why, but that's what will be happening. Sleep with the phone in your hands, ok?
Tender mercy for this week: I didn't have to get that other shot. They told me that I can just get it when I get home. HOORAH FOR ISRAEL!!!
I can't believe that my time at the MTC has gone by so fast. I'm completely unprepared, but I'm ready to get out there. I think I've learned as much here as I will be able to. We've had a bunch of departing devotionals these last few days, and our district is getting a little crazy. I'm going to miss them so much. They are all so wonderful. I was in the laundry room today and it was all nasty and sweaty, and I thought about how tomorrow it's going to be like that all over tomorrow. Not just in the laundry room. Well, I guess I'll talk to you tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing ok. Love you. The church is true. O ya! I saw Keldon Haws yesterday. So crazy! I'm old.

DSC06972= This is of our district and two of our awesome teachers. We seriously have had the best that the MTC has to offer. They are wonderful.
DSC06980= This is all of us at the temple. Three of the elders got reassignments this week. One sister got her visa. Two sisters are staying here for another week. And Hermana Foster, Elder Orullian, and I are going right where we had planned. Elder Orullian (the one that is right in front of me in the picture) and I are going to Florida together. I'm so glad of that. It will be nice to have a familiar face amidst all the chaos tomorrow.
