FAMILIA!!!!
How was Thanksgiving? It was so different to be out here for Thanksgiving, but it was so fun. I hope that everything went well there. There is a phrase that people use after eating a big meal here that I definitely said and meant on Thanksgiving. It is: "Barriga llena y corazon contento." "Belly full and heart happy." I was. It was great. We ate with a cute family from Ecuador. They are fun.
Anyway, we biked a TON this week, and it happened to rain A TON this week. This was at the beginning of the day before I knew what was going to happen to me. It was a long, wet day
Fat moth that we found. So creepy. Florida produces the weirdest bugs...
...but the most beautiful sunsets.
Really quick because I have to get off...Adelfa got interviewed and our district leader said that she is ready--super prepared. I just marvel at the Lord's hand in getting this woman baptized. First, he sent her the elders. She wasn't progressing quickly enough or showing enough desire, so the elders weren't able to continue teaching her. Her son, whose spouse and children are members, gave her a Book of Mormon that she had been reading when we decided to look through our formers and go and find her. She accepts every single thing that we teach her. She is definitely prepared by God. The Lord is so good to his children--us and her! We can't wait for her to get baptized.
Anyway, I have to get going. I love you guys so much. I can't wait to talk to you at the end of this month! Love you long time!!
