March 10, 2014

Family,

Alright. Biggest change in this missionary's history. I am in an area called Royal Palm Beach West. It is English, but it is kind of in the sticks. We are knocking in this place called Loxahatche a lot. You know Duck Dynasty, right? There are those kind of people out here. It is rich, but hick. I fit in alright with the hick part, so at least we have something. There is not a lot of Spanish, but I'm going to keep it up. I'm not done in Miami. There are still people down south for me. We'll see what the Lord thinks though.

Also, SURPRISE!! I've been in a trio for the last week. Sister Freeman (middle) is leaving us today though. She was waiting for her visa to Australia, and she got it. We're sad she is leaving, but it will be good for her. Sister Fletcher (the other one who is not me) and I are bummed, but we are going to rock it up here in Royal Palm Beach.

So, the area is a LOT different. I am used to the ghetto and Spanish. This is neither. We've had some crazy experiences. Someone threatened to sic (I don't know how to spell that) their dobermans on us and someone literally cuss us off his property and down the road. We just walked with our heads held high though.

Directly after though, we got to go see this awesome less active. He was just talking to us about why he knows there is a God.  He has been through a lot and still trusts in God. He has been to a few wars and been blown up a couple times and still trusts God. He is awesome. He made my night. Dad would LOVE him. Guess what, Dad. You don't have to have a tag to hunt deer here. They are small, but they are fair game...literally.

AHHHHH!!! Also, I saw an alligator. It was in the canal. We slowed down and poked our heads out of the car, and there it was. HAHA! O ya! There is also an elder in my district from St. Johns. Small world.

Well, family, I love you. I hope that you are all happy and healthy. Thanks for all your love and support. Remember that I love you, but God loves you more.
