Family!!
This is my new companion. Her name is Sister Smaellie. She is so cool. She is from Utah and, GET THIS, she is 6'2!!!! People gape at us. We went and ate Chipotle the other day. The entire place was just starring at us. We felt kind of like freaks, but it's cool. Sister Smaellie is cool though. She reminds me of Missy A LOT. She played water polo in high school and also went to BYU-Idaho. It was meant to be. I am so excited. Quote from Sister S this week: "It's not every day you see a lizard eat an inch worm." Indeed it is not.
Here is a quick miracle we saw (quoted from my email to President):
Sister Espinoza and I knocked into this man during transfer week last transfer. He was super nice and seemed interested, but he didn't accept a return appointment or give us his information. At the end of the transfer, we were out biking and a car pulled over in front of us. It was Carlos! He was very impressed that sisters were also on bikes. We gave him a copy of the Book of Mormon and set up an appointment with him. Sister Espinoza got transferred, so Sister Smaellie and I headed over to follow up. He was there and we had an awesome lesson. He told us that he would be at church, but that we couldn't see him during the week because he was busy. We tried everything, but he was pretty adamant about it. We worked really hard this transfer week, but nothing seemed to be working out. Saturday night, we prayed for a miracle and put our trust in the Lord. President, HE CAME TO CHURCH. We taught him the restoration later that day and he told us that he believes Joseph Smith is a prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true! TRANSFER WEEK MIRACLE!!!!
I'm so excited to talk to you on Christmas. I can't contain myself. Sorry this is so short, but I'll make up for it by looking real good on Skype in two days!!!!! Love you, love YOU, LOVE YOU!!!!
