Family,
We are running around like crazy today, so I've copied and pasted some of my letter to President. We have a ton of places to stop by. If Dad could see how people drive down here and how much fun I have behind the wheel, he would probably kill over. I'm safe though. I promise.
This week has been wonderful! We have had so many great experiences. On Christmas Day we were knocking doors in a trailer park. We asked the Lord to send us to somene who really needed to know that God loved them on Christmas. We found the exact person. Gilberto! We asked him what he wanted from God, and he said salvation!! He agreed to be baptized and eats up everything that we teach him. We just need to get him to church, and he will be baptized.
Also, Saturday night, we didn't have anyone solid for church. Gilberto had a prior commitment, so he couldn't come. We were harvesting at around 8:30 and needed to head home soon, but we wanted to finish out the floor we were on. We had two doors left, and an older man answered the door. He accepted a blessing and promised us that he would come to church. HE ACTUALLY CAME!!! He came to Gospel Principles after, and he told everyone how we had found him. He said that he hasn't been going to church for a while and last night he broke down and started drinking again. He said that he had only taken one drink of the beer and we knocked on his door. He told everyone in there that he felt great at the church and that he thinks that "we have it right." Best part was that two recent converts testified that the feeling he had was the Spirit, and that this is the true church! Best Sunday EVER!!
Sorry, there will be pictures next week, but we are at a weird library today. I love you all. I loved seeing your beautiful faces on Christmas. Sorry I cried. Cade's mustache was just so beautiful that it brought me to tears. Loveyou! LOVE YOU!!
