I hope everything at home is alright. I wish that I could be there to be a support to you all. I'll be praying for all of you.
This week has been crazy--full of crazy wonderful things. We were trained by Elder Walker of the 70 for the Open House, and it was wonderful. He took us through the temple. He is the director of temples worldwide, so he knows a lot about temples. I literally took notes. I wish that I could have recorded it.
Here is a picture with all of my companions except my trainer. I love them!
This is our beautiful temple. It is so fun to work at the open house. So, how it works is we have everyone come into our little tent, and we get them all settled in. We tell them no food, no drinks, no pictures inside, and then introduce a little video. I feel like a flight attendant, but it is so fun. We get to talk to so many people. We get to work in the exit tent next week. That is where everyone comes out and asks questions. I'm excited for that. We have already seen so many cool experiences come from it. People are getting baptized because of the temple. Not in area YET, but we have faith that good things are going to happen for us too.
Isn't it a bute? I love this temple.
We were told that we are the only mission in the world that is doing an open house right now. Hooray! It is a wonderful time to be a part of this work.
I know that I am forgetting to say things, but I'll put them in a letter later today. I really just hope all of you know how much God loves you. Being at the temple so much and really just being out here on a mission has taught me how real God's love is. I hope you all understand that. God loves you. If you don't feel it, pray or go to the temple. He does. I know it. Also, I love you all too. I pray for you every day. Keep on keeping on.
Con amor,
Hermana Gardner
