I don't have much to say today since I talked to you yesterday. I wish that I could have seen everyone, but it was good to see the three still at home:). It was crazy to see you guys especially when my two worlds collided and Hermana Gaminara came in. She is so sweet. She just kept thanking Sister Torralba and I all day yesterday for teaching her mom. She will be getting baptized this month! Hna. Gaminara says that she has been waiting for this for 25 years. We are so grateful to be a part of it. The Lord is blessing us so much.
We are also teaching a really cool family. Here is a little snippet from what I sent to President:
We had just pulled over to where we would be knocking doors when we saw a man on the other side of the road. We felt a little awkward because he had seen us sit in the car for a few minutes, but we decided to go up and talk to him. We got to know him a bit and offered the prayer. After the prayer, he bore his testimony to us about God and Jesus Christ. We invited him to be baptized, and he said "Anything for Him." We asked if we could come back and explain more. He said, "Yes. You have to meet my family. My kids need to be baptized. At the return visit, his wife and daughter accepted baptism as well! A wonderful family of 4 all because we opened our mouths.
They are so cool. The wife, who looked super intimidating, said, "Ya'll can come over Monday through Sunday, if you want. We pretty much have done that. They are so, SO nice.
This is Sister Torralba and I HAHAHA! Can you tell which one is me?
I love you SOOOOOO much!
