Hey family!
I'm just going to have to keep this one short and sweet.
David dropped us. It was depressing, but I know he'll accept the Gospel eventually. He just needs to grow up a bit. We found a lot of really cool people this week though. It has been nuts. Almost every person we have talked to this week knows about Mormons. They all have either met with the missionaries or they have family that are Mormons. It has been crazy. We were tracting the other day and this man waved us over. He, Danny, is from Ecuador and said he loved the missionaries there. He also said that when he first came here that he lived with a returned missionary!! We are teaching him and his family now. His wife, Emily, used to go to seminary with her cousin in the Dominican Republic!! They love having us over. We're just really trying to help them know the importance of the Gospel. We also met a different David and his friend Jairo. They are a hoot. We met them on Saturday and they came to church on Sunday. They have a date set for baptism this week. Please pray for them and us. They are our age and it is so hard to get through a lesson with them. When they speak English it is hilarious, and I'm sure we sound just as ridiculous to them. The whole situation is just funny: two white girls going into the ghetto and sitting with two Honduranian (Honduran?) kids out on their front steps. I love it. I love being a missionary here in Southern Florida. The people are WONDERFUL!!
I think that's about it for the week. I hope everything is going well for all of you. I wish we could send some of the rain we are getting your way. Les quiero mucho, but God loves you more.
