Familia!!!
It has been a week. I feel like I have never been anywhere else but here. The area is really starting to grow on me and feel more natural. It's taken some getting used to, but I love it. I'm not used to having so many words to use when I teach, so I feel like I am learning to do missionary work all over again. It's humbling but super cool. I'm praying for talents that I do not have, but that I need a lot of. The Lord loves us here in Snapper Creek.
Vannessa got baptized. She is so adorable. Her family came to support her, which was really cool because they aren't members. It was just a really special service. I was just watching all these young people do the jobs that older people have always done in the other wards that I have served in. I was so proud to watch them. I know that I've heard it all the time, but we really are preparing to be future leaders. It was cool to watch. It's so awesome to be serving in this little branch where I'm sure many future leaders will come from.
In other news: I went on an exchange to the other sisters area that serve in our branch. They are up north, in real downtown Miami. Lookit.
Holy cow, right? The other sisters in our branch cover this area for YSA, but Sister Meiling covers it for Spanish. It be SUPER fancy. I loved it though. There were so many beautiful things and so many cool people. This was on the wall. So cool.
Anyways, things are good. We are teaching some pretty cool people, and Sister Schneider and I are getting along well. I feel like I'm growing a lot in YSA. We were asked to share our testimonies in Sacrament Meeting yesterday, and it's just starting to feel natural talking to a whole bunch of people. It's really cool how the mission changes us. Thank you for all that you do. I know that you all are making sacrifices so that I can be out here. I wouldn't change the experiences that I am having right now for anything. Even though it is really hard sometimes, I know that this is where God wants me to be. Thank you for all that you do. I love you a lot!!

Hermana Gardner Pantalones
