February 18, 2014

Dear Family,

I MISSED YOU GUYS THIS WEEK. I don't know what it was, but I missed you all a whole lot. Weird, huh? I hope everything is going well at home and that you are all happy and healthy.

This week has been a good one. We were able to have an awesome experience as a mission this week. Elder Kopischke, of the 70, came to speak to us. I feel like a dweeb because I forgot my notes. So, I will just try to remember a few things. He just opened it up to questions. I'll have to write you and include a few things, but something that I thought was really cool was that he said that the 70 are mainly to be missionaries. That is kind of like their job. One of the questions that was asked was by Sister Monsouy.

I don't know if I have told you about Sister Monsouy yet. She is the coolest. She is from a place called Equitorial Guinea (this laptop has no spell check). She is the very first missionary from her country. Their country is the only African country that speaks Spanish, so her Spanish is awesome. She probably thinks I am crazy because I am constantly asking her if I can speak Spanish with her. She is just so cool. I hope that maybe some day I can be her companion. Look at how cute she is (far left)!!

Anyway, she asked when the church will go to her country( there are only 7 members there). Elder Kopischke said that the Gospel is spreading. He PROMISED her that it will get there. That it will be there. We also have a sister here from Cuba. She said the missionaries still aren't allowed to be in Cuba, but they have a small branch there, where she went to church. I am so grateful to be a part of this work, especially in this mission. Don't tell people serving in other places, but our mission is the coolest. THE COOLEST.

Other than that, our week has been spent finding. We are trying to deepen our small teaching pool. HAHA it's been interesting. YSA kids are crazy. I love being here. Crazy things happen every day. Some one asked us the other day: "Why are you asking so many questions? Are you guys cops?" HAHA. We aren't we are just super cool.
Here are some of my friends. Sister Brown's eyes are closed. hehe.

Anyway, this email feels a little lame. I can't really remember what happened this week. I need to start bringing my journal so that I can remember. All my days just kind of mesh in to one really awesome, crazy day. I hope all is well with you. How are you? Where are you? I feel like I haven't heard form you guys forever, even though it has only been a week.

I love you lots!!!
